Terms and Conditions (The Small Print)

Please read these terms and conditions of service and website use ("Terms") carefully, as using or purchasing through our website means you have understood the terms and agree to be bound by them.

1) The person who places / submits an order will hereinafter be known as the Customer.

Modifications to terms

Silver Peacock reserves the right to modify the Terms from time to time.  The customer's sole recourse will be to discontinue use of the website. Continued use of the website indicates the customer's understanding and acceptance of the modified Terms.

Ordering

You can buy products from us as described on our How to Order page. If the order is deemed incomplete, Silver Peacock will send an e-mail to the Customer requesting the missing information. When the information is received by Silver Peacock, the order will be complete.

Contract Formation and Governing Law

No contract will exist between Silver Peacock and the customer until and unless Silver Peacock, dispatches the Customer's goods. Acceptance will be deemed complete and effectively communicated at this time. Ownership of the goods will pass to the customer on receipt of payment and dispatch of the goods from Silver Peacock. Any and all contracts formed will be interpreted, construed and enforced in all respects in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Silver Peacock and the customer irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Prices

Prices are those reflected on the Silver Peacock site. Prices are subject to change from time to time without notice, however any orders placed at a particular time will be governed by the prices listed on the website at the time of the placing of the order. Quoted prices on the Silver Peacock site do not include postage and packing, which are calculated during the ordering process and added to the order. Prices displayed on the website are in British pounds sterling.

Terms of Payment

Payment is required at point of sale. Goods will not be dispatched until payment is received and funds have been cleared. Payment can be made by Cheque, Postal Order or via Paypal.

Delivery Dates

Delivery dates or lead times are not guaranteed. Deliveries will be handled by third parties, usually Royal Mail, and thus Silver Peacock's ability to guarantee delivery dates is restricted. However, Silver Peacock will endeavour to ensure that delivery dates and requirements are met. Where delivery dates are given, they are without liability and time is not the essence of the contract. Deliveries will only be made if the order is deemed complete. Lead times will start from the time of complete order.

Postage and Packing

A postage and packing charge will be added to orders, and will correspond to the choice of delivery option the Customer has chosen, and the delivery destination. Should you require a different delivery service not offered at the point of sale, please contact Silver Peacock to discuss your requirements.

Legal Disclaimer

The services and all information, products and other content included in or accessible from this web site, are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis and are subject to change at any time without notice to you. Every reasonable care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions and colour matching are accurate. However, all measurements quoted are approximate and the reproduction of colours is as accurate as photographic and publishing processes will allow. Product descriptions can be changed by Silver Peacock at any time.

We take your privacy and internet security very seriously.  We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

We also know how important your personal details are, and therefore we will NEVER sell, distribute or disclose information about you as an individual, or your usage of our site to ANY external party. 

We may monitor customer traffic patterns, site usage and related site information in order to optimise your use of the website, and for our own records, but this will never be released to outside organisations.

We may use information gathered to contact existing customers, from time to time, with information on new products and / or offers. If you do not wish to receive such e-mails please contact us at info@silverpeacock.co.uk and you will be removed from the mailing list.
